After reading a karate manga as a child, he started learning traditional karate with his brother at the age of 4. In junior high school, he joined the judo club and practiced karate in parallel, but matches often overlapped, so after entering high school, he focused on karate and continued to practice.
At the age of 18, he went to a gym in Brazil where fellow traditional karate Lyoto Machida was, and then returned to Japan and started MMA, which he had always dreamed of, at a local gym. At the age of 19, he moved to Tokyo and joined KRAZY BEE, where fellow traditional karate Kyoji Horiguchi was. After gaining experience as an amateur, he lost in the semi-finals of the PANCRASE Neo Blood Tournament in February 2020, but has since built a winning record in PANCRASE and DEEP, with a record of 5 wins and 3 losses to date.
