At the end of 2015, he made a surprise appearance in RIZIN under MMA rules, and in his debut match he faced Kron Gracie, the son of legendary fighter Rickson Gracie.
Although he was defeated by such a strong opponent, he showed courage and outstanding fighting skills that were hard to believe it was his debut match, He captivated the large crowd, with the crowd chanting "Arsen."
At RIZIN.2 in September 2016, his mother, Miyu Yamamoto, made her MMA debut, and together they received a Spartan MMA education under his uncle, coach Yamamoto "KID" Norifumi.
In his bout against Saiga Kizaemon, he won by split decision after a fierce battle. He suffered consecutive losses on New Year's Eve 2016 and at RIZIN.7 in October 2017, but with the feelings of his uncle, Yamamoto "KID" Norifumi, who passed away last year, in his heart, he faced Miyata Kazuyuki, a senior wrestler, in his retirement match at RIZIN.14 on New Year's Eve 2018, and although he was submitted, the match showed his evolution as an MMA fighter.
At RIZIN.16 in June 2019, he KO'd Tim Esquire with an elbow, and just as he was about to restart his career, a pre-existing injury worsened. He was forced to take a long break. He returned to the ring after a year and two months at RIZIN.22 in August 2020, where he fought against Kato Kenji, but was knocked out by a right hook in the first round.
After that, he once again focused on recovering from his injury, but at RIZIN.42, held at Ariake Arena in May 2023, he dropped down to the flyweight class for the first time in about two years and nine months, and was scheduled to fight against DEEP hope Ito Yuki. He used his wrestling skills to keep attacking from start to finish and won his return match.
At RIZIN.44 in September, he fought against DEEP interim champion Fukuda Tatsuya, and although they both fought well, he lost by TKO in the third round after a doctor's stoppage.
At the RIZIN Kobe tournament in March 2024, his first fight in about six months, he fought against Shibata "MONKEY" Ariya, but was forced to take a long break due to injury again.
It was announced that he will be making his comeback after a year at the "RIZIN Otoko Matsuri" to be held at the Tokyo Dome in March and May of this year. With a change in his training environment, he has shown his evolution as an MMA fighter, grabbed some victories, and entered the RIZIN flyweight division, once again aiming for the top.
