Born in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture. Played soccer from the first grade of elementary school to the third grade of high school. While attending Waseda University, he was fascinated by Takanori Gomi, who was active in PRIDE at the time, and in 2019, he aimed to become a professional in mixed martial arts (MMA). While attending university, he made his professional debut against Ryosuke Nakai at the 18th Pancrase Neo Blood Tournament on April 28, 2012. In 2014, he participated in Professional Shooto. From July 2014, he won five consecutive matches and advanced to the title match. On November 12, 2016, he faced Ryogo Takahashi in the Professional Shooto Pacific Rim Featherweight Championship Deciding Match. In 2017, he switched to the bantamweight class and won three consecutive matches, but faced off against top fighters such as Yuta Nezu, Tatsuya Ando, and Kazuma Kuramoto. After a two-year hiatus, he will return to Professional Shooto on December 19, 2021. After his comeback, on July 17, 2022, he faced Yuta Nezu for the first time in four years and won by submission in the second round with a sleeper hold. He achieved his revenge and then extended his winning streak to three.
