She started judo in high school, and was the runner-up in the All Japan Junior 52kg class. After working as an All Japan training designated athlete, she went from being a sports instructor to the world of mixed martial arts.
Combining the strength of submission and striking sense she developed in judo, she made her professional debut in Shooto in October 2009.
Since then, she has been active in major organizations both in Japan and abroad, including JEWELS, InvictaFC, and RIZIN. She won three world title matches in InvictaFC and defended her title.
After giving up the belt in 2017, she began competing in RIZIN in 2018, winning fierce battles against Kanna Asakura, Jing Yu Flay, and Miyu Yamamoto to win the title twice. In November 2024, she returned to the ring after a two-year hiatus, defeating Shin Yuri and winning by submission. In March 2025, she returned to the ring with DEEP JEWELS.
Her record so far is 25 wins and 7 losses in 32 matches (win rate: 78% / finish rate (TKO/submission win): about 56%), showing a large winning record.
