She has since had many memorable matches, and on New Year's Eve 2023, she ended her career as an MMA fighter with her retirement match against current RIZIN Super Atomweight Champion Seika Izawa.

However, even after retiring, he continued to train in his favorite sport, boxing, and has now decided to make his boxing debut, one of his dreams.

Even after retiring from MMA, Miyu Yamamoto continues to challenge herself, so keep an eye out as she takes on the world once again on a new stage!

Comment from MiyuuYamamoto

“Even back in my wrestling days, I loved watching boxing.

I followed boxing more than KID's matches, and even when I was doing MMA, I found myself watching boxing all the time. That's how big a part of my life boxing was.

Even after retiring from MMA, that desire never faded and he said, "I definitely want to fight in a boxing match someday."

Believing this, I continued to practice diligently.

At first, I thought, "If I can just play one game, I won't have any regrets."

But now that the match is decided, that feeling has completely changed.

All I have now is the determination to win this match.

I'm still at the bottom, but it's precisely because I'm at the bottom that there's meaning in climbing up.

That's why I want to continue taking on the challenge.

This challenge and the way we fight will inspire everyone who is working hard in their own places.

Nothing would make me happier than being able to give people the strength to take that next step.

We will turn your support into strength,

I will fight with everything I've got and I will definitely win.

Please support us!!"
