Ayaka Hamasaki (freelance) attended a press conference for "RIZIN LANDMARK 13 in FUKUOKA" held at a location in Tokyo today, Friday, February 13th, where it was announced that she will be fighting Natasha Kuziutina (American Top Team/Ural and Western Siberia).

Hamasaki has a background in judo, and after making her professional debut in 2009, she has been active both domestically and internationally, winning the inaugural JEWELS lightweight (then -52kg) queen tournament in 2010. In July 2015, she won the Invicta FC World Atomweight Championship by decision, becoming the first Asian to win the world title. In 2018, she began competing in RIZIN, where she was crowned the first and third RIZIN Women's Super Atomweight Champion. She has since competed in RIZIN and DEEP, and this will be her first RIZIN fight in about a year and a half. Her record to date is 26 wins and 7 losses.

Her opponent, Kuzyutina, is a judoka from Russia who won a bronze medal in the 52kg judo category at the 2016 Rio Olympics. After switching to MMA, she joined American Top Team (ATT), home to world-class fighters such as Kyoji Horiguchi, and has won titles with Invicta FC, Titan FC, and LFA. Her MMA record is 9 wins and 1 loss.

Stay tuned for Hamasaki's return to RIZIN to see if she can teach Kuziutina, who also has a background in judo, the rigors of MMA!
