GRACHAN flyweight champion Kaito Oda (CARPE DIEM Fukuoka) will make his first title defense against Daisuke Kobayashi (ALIVE), the number one ranked fighter in the same class, in the main event of GRACHAN 80, which will be held in Osaka on Sunday, February 1st!

Oda has been winning consecutive matches mainly in GRACHAN, and in April and June of 2024, he competed in ONE Friday Fights, winning by decision against strong opponents. In December of the same year, he won the GRACHAN flyweight title by TKO against the number one ranked fighter in the same class, Masashi Michibata, to become the interim champion. In June of last year, he faced Satoshi Miyokawa in the GRACHAN flyweight title unification bout, winning by TKO in the first round to become the unified champion. In October, he made his first appearance in JCK, a Chinese promotion that is attracting attention from the UFC, and although he continued to attack in the early stages and set his own pace, he was narrowly defeated.
Look forward to seeing him show his true strength in this comeback match and make his first title defense!
