Announcement of the establishment of the Uzbekistan Samarkand branch of the mixed martial arts gym MASTER JAPAN

In July of this year, MASTER JAPAN, a mixed martial arts gym located in Suidobashi, the "Mecca of martial arts," announced that it had opened two new gyms in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, with the aim of popularizing MMA (mixed martial arts) and developing athletes in the Central Asian region.


With the establishment of this new base, MASTER JAPAN will further strengthen its athlete development network both domestically and internationally, and aim to improve international competitiveness and develop sports culture through exchanges between Japanese and Uzbek athletes and coaches, joint training camps, seminars, etc.

The head of the Samarkand branch is Zafar Salimov Heydarovich, an athlete and coach from Uzbekistan. He has been active in various parts of Asia for many years and is currently the head of the Samarkand Province MMA department. He is a powerful figure who will play a central role in the development system rooted in the region.
